1. Purpose

This document compliments the LV DERMS Utility Interconnection Handbook to provide initial scope and connection information to OEMs. It is important to note that this document is progressively being developed and is subject to change in future iterations.

The purpose of this document is to:

• Provide background information and high-level solution architecture of the CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy (CPPALUE) Low-Voltage Distributed Energy Resource Management System (LV DERMS).

• Document the process to be followed by OEMs to register with and connect to our Non-Production LV DERMS systems to conduct software interoperability testing prior to the mandate go-live.

• Provide the standards that shall apply to OEM devices and Software Communications Clients (SCC) that participate in interoperability testing.

• Provide an outline of the OEM interoperability test procedure.

This document serves as a supplementary document alongside IEEE 2030.5:2018, SA HB-218:2023, CSIP and CSIP- AUSv1.1A and CSIP communications client test procedures v1.0 to assist with interfacing with the Utility Server.

This document will be reviewed regularly and amended as required to reflect changes in standards, the application of new technologies and features, changes to procedures and field experience, among other things.
